Denny was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Toledo, Ohio, where he started out as a performer. He started playing guitar at the age of 13… and picked the piano much later just to add variety to his act, at the age of 30.

He did very well performing in Toledo Ohio, and decided that he wanted to take his music to the Los Angeles area in 1978. He has been performing in the L.A./Orange County areas for over 40 years. (With two and a half years in the 1980s of gigs in Las Vegas Tropicana Hotel opening for Sam Butera and the Witnesses).

Denny had been performing from 1993 through 2009 at Capistrano’s lounge in the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana, CA. He performed there 5 nights a week… 50 weeks a year for that entire time…

He then performed at such places as Balboa Bay Club (In Newport Beach Ca.)… Hamilton’s Restaurant (In Covina Ca.)… Original Mike’s (In Santa Ana)… and The Renaissance (In Dana Point, Ca.).

In October of 2011 Denny and his wife Virginia moved to S.W.Florida to spend some quality time with his father. He is “Rockin’ The House” at such places as Boca Royale Country Club in Englewood…Beyond the Sea Supper Club in Englewood… Florida Elks, VFW & American Legions all over Southwest Florida… Kelly Greens Country Club in Fort Myers… Heron’s Glen Country Club “The Nest” in North Fort Myers… and Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda. He enjoyed doing shows for the elderly and the sick at Harbor Health Center at South Port in Port Charlotte.

After four years in Florida we have come back to California again… And settled into the Cochella Valley… And are loving living and working in the desert communities of Palm Springs, Indian Wells, Palm Desert, and Indio California.
